After Hour / Urgent Care

Illness or injuries do not always strike during business hours. Non-life-threatening conditions that present themselves in the evening or on the weekend can be treated at the Family Medical Center by Dr. Ray Andreassen.

Our Urgent Care can treat conditions such as:

  • Sore throats

  • Ear infections

  • Pink eye

  • Minor cuts or abrasions

  • Minor burns

  • Joint sprains and strains

  • Insect bites

  • Rashes

  • Minor injuries

Minor issues no longer require waiting long hours to be seen in an emergency room. Urgent Care has quicker turn-around time and is much cheaper than an emergency room. Most insurance companies have a high co-pay for ER services but view After Hours care more like a regular doctor visit. Co-pays still apply but are much lower than emergency services.

After Hours care at Family Medical Center provides the same personalized care you would receive during regular business hours. No appointment is needed. The extended hours also make it easier for patients to schedule appointments around their busy schedules.

The services available can include regular or preventative visits. Vaccinations, flu shots, and well-baby checks can be scheduled at times that fit your needs.
